Our Pastor's Oldest
Daughter,
Amy
L. Burns

I
was born Amy Leah Bailey on December 10, 1976 at the
Elbert County
Hospital. I am the firstborn, so naturally I am spoiled
rotten.
I started Kindergarten at Bible Baptist Christian School
when I was 4
years old. I attended school there until I was in
the 6th
grade. I home
schooled my seventh year and then went to Samuel Elbert
Christian
Academy my 8th
year. I home schooled my high school years and
graduated in 1994 with a 4.0 GPA.
In the fall of 1994 I started to Emmanuel College in
Franklin Springs, Ga.
where I graduated in 1996 with an Associates Degree in
General Education.
I was saved on November 7, 1980 at Bible Baptist
Church in Royston, Ga.
I was 4 years old. We were having Revival
and the preacher preached
on Hell that night. I realized my need for a
Saviour. My Dad went to
the altar with me and led me to the Lord. I joined
the Church
and have been a member there ever since. I love my church
very much.
I feel we have the best church and the best pastor in the
whole world.
On Feb. 26, 2000, I met the most wonderful man in the
whole world.
We met on a blind date and I fell for him immediately. On
April 16, 2000,
he asked me to be his wife and on Nov. 25, 2000, I was
honored to become
the bride of Jeffrey W. Burns.
On December 5, 2002 God blessed our home with a precious bundle of joy
named Victoria Grace Burns. She has completed our home and brought
so much joy into our lives.
God has been so good to me. Not only did He give me the
best parents in
the world, but He also blessed me with a wonderful
husband, a beautiful
little girl and a wonderful sister. I thank God for my family.
I am blessed to be a stay at home Mom and I am currently a manager
with Tupperware.
I enjoy singing at Church and spending time with my
family. My hobbies are
reading, taking pictures, and collecting lighthouses and
cows. I love working
with our Church youth group on Wed. nights.
