Our Pastor's
Son-in-Law,
Jeffrey W.
Burns

I was born
June 10, 1973 in Ft. Saint Joe, Florida to Rev. Doug and Mrs.
Linda Burns. I grew up as a preacher's kid. I graduated from Franklin Co.
High
School in 1991. And then attended North Georgia Tech where I
graduated
in 1992 with a degree in Residential Commercial Wiring.
When I was 8, I made a profession, but never really accepted Jesus as my
Savior. I went ten years thinking I was okay, but living my life the way
I wanted to.
On April 10, 1992, God convicted this 18 year old boy's heart during a
revival
service. He showed me I was a sinner on my way to Hell. I accepted Him as
my
Savior that night and my life has never been the same.
I am the youngest of 3 boys. My brothers are both married and
I have three nieces
and a nephew.
On Feb. 26, 2000, I went on a blind date and met the most wonderful girl
in the
world. The moment I saw Amy, I knew something was different about her.
We began our courtship and on April 16th I asked her to become my wife.
She
said "yes" so on Nov. 25, 2000 we were married. I became a part
of this family.
God blessed me and Amy on December 5, 2002 by giving us a beautiful little
girl.
We named her Victoria Grace Burns.
I joined Bible Baptist Church the day I asked Amy to marry me. I know God
has sent
me here and I feel it is the best Church in the world. God has
really blessed me.
I am currently employed at Franklin County Middle School where I work
as
a Custodian. Amy and I, along with another couple in our Church,
work with
the Wed. night youth group. We enjoy it so much and we know that God
has placed
us there. Pray for me and Amy as we try to live our lives for the Lord.
